• Prover : Dr. Hahnemann 
• Miasm : Tri-miasmatic
• Temperament : nervous
• Diathesis : scrofulous 
• Thermal : chilly

Guiding Symptoms + Keynotes 

1. A/F : exposure to chill, ice cream, cold, fruits especially watery, decayed food. 
2. Mentals : mentally restless, but physically too weak to move. anxious - fear of death thinks it is useless to take medicine. He thinks his disease is incurable, is surely going to die, dread of death when alone.
3. Great prostration, with rapid sinking of vital force, fainting.
4. Burning pain; affected part burns like fire, as if hot coals were applied on it.
5. Ars want to keep his body in a hot room but head in refrigerator. 
6. All discharges are acrid, scanty, putrid, dark with cadaveric smell (diarrhea). While menses are profuse.
7. All symptoms are aggravated at mid day (1-2 pm), mid night (12-2 am).

Mind

• Mental restlessness (trio of restlessness : aco. - mental and physical, Rhus Tox. - physical). 
• He feels that medicine will not work and he will die.
• Wants everything in perfect manner.
• Wants everything neat, clean and in perfect order. 
• All complaints comes periodically.
• Very fastidious. 
• Teething children are pale, weak, fretful and wants to be carried rapidly. 

Physical Generals

• Mid-day mid-night Aggravation.
• All discharges smell like a cadaver. 
• Burning pain all over the body. 
• Trio of burning (Ars.Alb., Phos., sulph.). 
• Burning pain relived by heat except head.

Head

• A/F - exposure to cold, taking ice cream, decayed food. 
• periodic headache. 
• Sensation : as if skull would burst. 
• wants to put head in the fridge. 
• Relived by cold application, tight bandage.

Respiratory 

• Asthma: wheezing respiration with cough and scanty, froathy expectoration. 
• Location : 1/3rd part of upper right lung. 
• < by suppressed eruptions, cold food and cold drinks, mid night. 

 GIT

• A/F - decayed food, cold food, ice cream. 
• White coated tongue.
• Burning pain in stomach.
• Thirst : for small quality of cold water at short interval. (cold water aggravates)
• In chronic stage, its thirstless. 
• Gastritis : anything he eats or drinks is vomited out as soon as he intake. 
• Great remedy for affection like food poisoning. 
• Vomitus : dark, offensive, putrid, scanty. Which contains bile or blood (black in colour). 
• diarrhoea : Rice watery, after drinking or eating cold food, with great prostration.

Fever

• Intermittent fever with headache. 
• Appears periodically, with mid day, mid night aggravation. 
• With great prostration and debility. 
• Chill without thirst. 
• Perspiration at the end of the fever, which is very offensive with thirst. 

Skin

• Black eruptions, With burning and itching. 
• Haemorrhoids : stitching pain when walking and sitting, but not at stool.
• Burning pain relieved by heat. 

Modalities 

• Aggravation : Periodical, mid-day mid night, cold food or drink, lying on affected side.

• Amelioration : heat in general except head, complete rest, motion, after bathing with hot water.
