Cholera 

• Prevalence : solitude is unbearable with vomiting of water as soon as it reaches the stomach but solid food retains for days together. - can be seen throughout the drug. 
• A/F : heat and summer, abdominal operation / laparotomy. 
• Mind during cholera : "solitude is unbearable", pt desires company, a bismuth child always holds the hand of mother. 
• Restlessness : can not stay in one position (ars.alb.).
• Bismuth is infallible for every cholera like cholera due to summer, cholera infantum, cholera morbus or cholera in epidemic time.
• Tongue : white coated. 
• Stomach : vomiting of water as soon as it reaches the stomach, Still has a great thirst. 
• Food retains for longer time even for days, and then vomits. 
• Due to large accumulation of food in stomach, it causes pain / load in a single spot (k.bich.), along with offensive eructations and cadaverous smelling vomitus.
• Stool : purging and diarrhoea
• Character : painless, profuse, watery, offensive. 
• Concomitant : tooth-ache better by cold water with swollen gums. 
• Headache alternates with gastralgia. 

Modalities

• Aggravation : heat, summer. 
• Amelioration : cold application, motion relieves most of the symptoms except headache, which aggravates.
