Arnica is best first aid as it controls haemorrhage, reabsorbs extravasation of blood and prevents suppuration and septic condition.
Affected part is painful and sensitive to touch.
Becomes blue / black with extravasation of blood.
Sore, lame bruised feeling in affected part.
Everything feels hard on which pt lies.
Rheumatism
Ascending rheumatism.
Oversensitive to touch.
Pain in back, pelvis & limbs, so he can't walk erect.
< touch.
> lying down.
Mind
The pt remains unconscious, when spoken to, answers correctly and completely, but immediately unconsciousness and delirium returns.
Fear of death rousing him up at night with cardiac distress.
Fever
Generally indicated in typhoid fever.
Heat of upper part of body, while limbs are deathly cold.
During fever, there is low muttering delirium, pt lies unconscious. Whenever anything is asked, he answers correctly & fully. But unconsciousness at once returns. (falls asleep in midst of answer - Bapt.)
Modalities
Aggravation : least touch, motion, rest, damp cold weather.
